Cannabis education, in plain English.
The ZenZest Learn library is what our budtenders point new shoppers to when there's too much to cover in a five-minute counter conversation. Every guide is written in plain language by the team that actually works the floor at our Queens & Staten Island stores. None of this is medical advice. All of it is the kind of guidance we wish someone had handed us the first time we walked into a legal dispensary.
What do you want to know?
Ask a question in your own words. We'll surface the most relevant answers from across our education library — pulled straight from our budtenders' most-asked-at-the-counter questions.
Start Here
If it's your first time in a legal dispensary — or your first time since 2012 — this is the place to start.
Format Guides
Same THC, very different experiences. What each product format is, when it's the right tool, and what it actually costs.
Effect & Use
Match what you want — better sleep, calmer evening, less anxious morning — to the right product on our shelf.
The Science
What's actually happening when cannabis hits — receptors, enzymes, terpenes, and the body's own cannabinoid network.
Safety & Health
Mental health, drug interactions, driving, pregnancy, and storage. The information adult shoppers deserve, not the marketing version.
NY Cannabis Law
MRTA, possession limits, where you can legally use, why most of Long Island has no dispensary, and what the taxes really are.
How ZenZest writes these guides.
Every piece in the Learn library is fact-checked against the New York Office of Cannabis Management's published rules and against the lab certificates of the products we actually carry on the ZenZest shelf. We do not invent statistics. We do not exaggerate effects. We do not promise medical outcomes.
When research is unsettled, we say it is unsettled. When something is illegal in New York, we say so. The goal is to be the most useful resource an adult shopper in Queens, Long Island, or Staten Island can find — not the loudest.
If you have a question we haven't covered, contact us — there's a good chance we'll write it up next.
