THC is the primary cannabinoid responsible for the psychoactive effects associated with cannabis. The amount of THC in a product can vary widely based on the method of consumption and the strain at the source of that product. The high that is produced is often enhanced by the “entourage effect” which is a combination of multiple cannabinoids in conjunction with various terpenes and individual body chemistry.
Terpenes are aromatic compounds found in cannabis that contribute to each strain's unique flavor and aroma. Total terpenes represents the combined concentration of all terpene compounds detected in the product, which may influence the overall experience through the entourage effect.
Problem Child from Grassroots arrives as a prepack of whole flower, a hybrid selection offered in ready-to-go jars. Whole flower means the buds are left intact rather than broken down, so the structure and trichome coverage stay visible in the jar. Its terpene profile leans pine-forward and woody, with spice and earth underneath, giving the strain a character that reads more forest floor than fruit bowl.
This batch tested at 36.23% THC, placing it at the higher end of the flower shelf. Consumers report a calm, happy frame of mind that settles in alongside a relaxed body feel, with a thread of energy running through it rather than a heavy finish. That combination of steady and awake makes it a popular pick for shoppers who want something unhurried without slowing down entirely, whether that is an afternoon at home or time with friends.
The aroma is led by alpha pinene and beta pinene, giving a fresh pine and woody top note, with camphene adding a herbal edge. Beta caryophyllene and caryophyllene oxide bring sharp, sweet spice, while beta myrcene fills in earth, musk and clove underneath. On the inhale the flavour follows the nose, pine and softwood first, then peppery spice and a dry, earthy finish. Grassroots Problem Child prepack whole flower is available at ZenZest in New York.
