Delta 9 THC is the primary compound found in the resinous glands of a cannabis plant, and is directly responsible for psychoactive effects. It mirrors the body’s naturally occurring cannabinoids and attaches to these receptors to alter and enhance sensory perception. THC can create a feeling of euphoria by enhancing dopamine levels in the brain. The amount of THC in a cannabis product can vary widely based on the method of consumption and the strain at the source of that product. The high that is produced is often enhanced by the “entourage effect” which is a combination of multiple cannabinoids in conjunction with various terpenes and individual body chemistry.

THC-D9 (Delta 9–tetrahydrocannabinol)

LayUp Iced Tea Lemonade is an infused beverage from LayUp, built on a hybrid profile and sold in a 12oz bottle. It takes the familiar half-and-half format of brewed iced tea and lemonade, with the tartness of the lemonade sitting against the tea's drier side. The hybrid character shows up in an aromatic mix that runs herbal and citrus-forward, with resinous notes underneath.

Each 12oz bottle contains 10mg of THC. Consumers report a calm, happy quality that tends to arrive together rather than one after the other, settling into a relaxed feeling that still carries a thread of energy through it. That combination of unhurried and awake is what drinkers most often describe. A popular choice for shoppers who want a citrus-forward drink for social afternoons or a warm-weather gathering.

The terpene profile leads with ocimene and terpinolene, bringing herbal sweetness, bright citrus and a touch of woody spice that lines up naturally with the lemonade. Alpha pinene and beta pinene add pine and forest notes, while beta caryophyllene contributes sharp, sweet spice and beta myrcene fills in earthy, musky depth with a hint of cloves. On the palate, tea tannin and lemon tartness carry those spiced, piney edges through the finish. LayUp Iced Tea Lemonade is available at ZenZest in New York.
